Kala was found on the West Mesa of Albuquerque with her litter, a good sumaritain took in the litter and began finding homes for each pup. Kala would be a tough placement though. She was the runt of the litter, picked on by her littermates and scared of people. The day she came home we had to crawl under a car to get her. We then spent the next month sleeping in a home gym giving lots of love, lots of flee and tick baths, and all the food she would eat.

Buddy was found in a median along I25 with a broken leg, when my father approached him he was saying "hey, Buddy" to keep him calm. Buddy went to the vet to get care for his injuries and quickly became a VIP in the family. Buddy loved to go hiking and camping, running ahead to scout and back to us to be sure we were safe. Buddy lived happily with our family for 11 years.

Alfalfa was found on top of the livestock haybales, that were made of Alfalfa. He was maybe two weeks old and could fit the palm of your hand. He quickly showed his spunky but loving personality. Alfalfa is known for being the Hairtye Bandit of the house, waiting for people to be asleep before he goes into the bathroom. He is no longer the small kitten found at the top of the haybales and is now 16lbs of pure happy cat.
